Hightower Trail District's Monthly Roundtable

Held every month, on the second Tuesday at 7:30pm, Roundtable is an opportunity for all leaders and interested parents to learn more about the activities of the Hightower Trail District as well as their specific scouting program. Presentations are geared to help you deliver the Promise of Scouting. Roundtable is a great place to meet others and learn from their experiences.

Both Roundtables are held at the Fellowship Hall in the back of Briarcliff United Methodist Church, at the corner of Briarcliff and Shallowford Roads.

Boy Scout Leader Training

What makes a trained leader? Youth Protection Training, Fast Start Training, New Leader Essentials, Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training, and Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills.

The Hightower Trail District offers premium Boy Scout Leader Training.  The Hightower Trail Course combines New Leader Essentials, Scoutmaster/Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training, and Introduction to Outdoor Leadership

 

Cub Scout Leader Training

What makes a trained Cub Scout Leader? Youth Protection Training, Fast Start Training, New Leader Essentials, Cub Scout Leader Specific Training, and Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO).

Cub Scout Leaders - Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) is mandatory for Cub Scout Leaders that want to take Dens or Packs on overnight outings.  BALOO is a fun course that teaches the leader basic organizational skills for a Cub Scout Overnighter.
