Service project opportunity/ Little Free Library

You may have seen the Little Free Library boxes outside of local schools or neighborhoods.  An organization in Brookhaven for children with autism would like to have one.  If you have Scouts who are looking for a service project, contact:

Cub Summer Camp at Bert Adams Scout Camp

Summer time will be here before you know it, and that means Summer Camp at Bert Adams! As you know, Camp is where Scouting comes alive! The great part about Bert Adams Summer Camp is that you can attend as a Pack or as individual families. What better way to spend 4-6 days in the Summer than exploring nature, riding bikes, cooling off in the pool, or taking a run at the Slip-n-slide!

Hightower Trail welcomes Jordan Naliwajka as a new District Executive

The Atlanta Area Council is pleased to announce that Jordan Naliwajka will be joining our staff effective May 1, 2017 as District Executive serving the Hightower Trail District.  Jordan will be working under the direction of Patrick Lewis, District Director, who will provide guidance and support to ensure her success in her new role. In her role as District Executive, Jordan will be responsible for providing leadership in the areas of service to Hightower Trail Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews.  She will support the district youth recruiting efforts and fundraising including Friends of Scouting, the Trail’s End Popcorn Sale and the Camp Card sale.
